Unipro Publishes RAS Accounting Statements for H1 2017

Unipro PJSC publishes the accounting statements prepared according to the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) for January–June 2017.

At the end of H1 2017, the revenue of Unipro PJSC decreased by 5.7% in comparison with the analogous period of 2016 and totalled RUB 38.8 bn.

This was caused by the following factors:

  • The absence of payments under CSA for capacity of Power Unit No. 3 of Berezovskaya GRES which is in emergency repair;
  • Reduced electricity generation by Surgutskaya GRES-2 and Berezovskaya GRES as a result of downtime of the equipment placed on cold reserve; and
  • Reduced electricity generation by Shaturskaya GRES as a result of the major inspection of the CCGT power unit.

Meanwhile, a positive impact was exerted by the review of the CSA prices for CCGT power units of Yayvinskaya GRES and Shaturskaya GRES.

In May 2017, Unipro PJSC received the final part of the insurance indemnity in the amount of RUB 20 bn for the accident at the third power unit of Berezovskaya GRES. As a result, the net profit increased to RUB 21 bn.
