Unipro PJSC has proved compliance of its occupational health and safety management system (hereinafter referred to as OHSMS) with International Occupational Health and Safety Standard ISO 45001:2018.
The audit team of Certification Association “Russian Register” audited Shaturskaya GRES, Smolenskaya GRES, and Moscow representative office in the period from December 21 through December 25, 2020. The auditors noted the strengths of Unipro PJSC Occupational Health and Safety Management System, including strong engagement of branch managers and specialists with the maintenance and improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
ISO 45001:2018 outlines the requirements to a modern HSE management system and supersedes OHSAS 18001:2007. While preparing for the recertification process, the company revised the Occupational Health and Safety Policy of Unipro PJSC, carried out off-schedule workplace hazard identification and risk assessment, and took effort to identify occupational health and safety risks and opportunities. The company delivered a training in ISO 45001:2018 requirements to its employees.
It is worth reminding that Unipro PJSC Occupational Health and Safety Management System has been continuously in place since 2011.
