Unipro PJSC Helping Disabled Children From the Villages of the Sharypovsky District.

Unipro PJSC has purchased modern wheelchairs for children with the help of “Galchonok” Charity Foundation. They are customised for two children suffering from cerebral palsy. The kids live in the villages of Oraki and Rodniki in the Sharypovsky Municipal District. The money to purchase the wheelchairs specifically for these children were transferred to “Galchonok” Foundation by Unipro. The wheelchairs have already been delivered to their new owners.   On the Children’s Day, the representatives of Unipro PJSC Berezovskaya GRES Branch paid a visit to the families who received the wheelchairs. Valeria Staikova, Head of Press Centre of Berezovskaya GRES, gave her best wishes to the kids on the occasion of the holiday and gave them soft toys. Unipro PJSC has been transferring money to “Galchonok” Charity Foundation that supports children suffering from cerebral palsy for more than 10 years now.  Over this time, the company has supported dozens of child patients in the regions where Unipro operates. Besides, the company is funding the “Illustrated Books for Vision-Impaired Children” project. Tactile educational books with three-dimensional pictures are delivered to specialised kindergartens, schools, and library for vision-impaired children in Krasnoyarsk. In addition, Unipro PJSC Berezovskaya GRES Branch has supported disabled children living in the villages of the Sharypovsky District for many years now. The charity support project for disabled persons from the rural areas named “Sharypovsky District – Territory of Equal Opportunity” that is implemented by Berezovskaya GRES jointly with the regional social welfare authorities was awarded the Diploma of the Contest for the best socially-oriented company of the fuel and energy complex sponsored by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in 2020.
