On 16 May, pursuant to the Resolution of the Head of the Shatura Urban District, Shaturskaya GRES Branch of Unipro PJSC closed the heating season.
The Power Plant specialists have designed and approved a schedule of work to be completed at the municipal heating network in the upcoming summer season. Power engineers are planning to test, inspect and repair heating network equipment and replace worn-out sections of pipelines and isolation valves. In total, about 4.5 kilometers of heating and hot water pipelines will be replaced in 2022.
In addition, intermediate maintenance of Power Units 1 and 3 and current repairs of Power Units 4, 6 and 7 are planned for the non-heating season.
Hot water boilers will be treated for preservation, and turbines, boilers, generators, and auxiliary equipment will be repaired.
“The 2021-2022 heating season at Shaturskaya GRES was maintained without any issues. There were no failures or process failures in the heating networks recorded during the past heating period," Sergey Ovchinnikov, Chief Engineer of Shaturskaya GRES branch of Unipro PJSC, noted.
