Brightly, Lively and about Love

On 2 and 3 June, Cinderella play was given on a charitable basis by the St. Petersburg Puppet Theatre Doll’s House in Shatura.  The children were able to see the magical world of puppets thanks to the regional project of the Golden Mask Festival and Unipro.

“More than 150 pupils of school summer playgrounds were able to appreciate the theatrical performance. Many of them looked impressed when they were going out. That much the kids had been thrilled by the one-man theatre,” said Evgenia Metyolkina, Head of the Press Centre of Shaturskaya GRES Branch of Unipro.

Unipro joined this project in 2018. Over 4 years, the best festival plays were shown in Smolensk, Surgut, Sharypov (the Krasnoyarsk Territory) and Berezniki (the Perm Territory).  The playbill traditionally includes plays that are nominees and award holders and performances that are highly appreciated by experts and the public at large.

It should be added that this is the first part of the festival only. The programme of the autumn tour to Shatura will include two plays by the Theatre of Nations. They will be performed at the stage of the Roshal Sports and Culture Centre.
