Yaivinskaya GRES Branch of Unipro PJSC has completed overhaul repairs at its 150 MW Power Unit No. 3

Upon completion of the repairs, the unit was shut down to cold reserve, and then it was connected to the network on December, 2.  

Unit No. 3 has been undergoing the scheduled overhaul for almost 4 months. The works performed within this period included partial replacement of gas boiler passes, installation of multi-cyclone bypasses, which will allow for reducing the resistance of the gas-air duct of the boiler. The feed-water economiser and tubes of the bottom cubes of air preheater in the boiler have been replaced. The expert examination of industrial safety of the technical devices has been carried out.

The overhaul repairs of Power Unit No. 3 were also accompanied by the scheduled current repairs of 150 MW Power Unit No. 4, which provides for unlimited load of the unit. During the same period, the industrial safety expert examination of the second chimney stack used for Unites Nos. 3 and 4 was carried out.

The 2022 repair campaign will end with a small inspection of Power Unit No. 5 (448 MW CCGT), which was started on November, 11.
