Shaturskaya GRES Increased Electricity Generation

In January–September 2022, Unipro PJSC’s Shaturskaya GRES branch generated 4,982 ml kWh of electric power, increased it by 13.6% YoY.

As per commands of the System Operator, the plant’s steam-power units increased electric power generation YoY. It is accounted for by the fact that the Moscow region grid experienced an increase in energy consumption in that period.

The Shaturskaya GRES steam-gas unit commissioned in 2010 under the program of new unit construction also increased electric power generation. That increase is explained by a shorter duration of repairs in the reporting period YoY.   

The heat output decreased by 8.0% YoY due to weather conditions and amounted to 229,000 Gcal.
