Berezovskaya GRES has received the certificate of operational readiness for the autumn-winter period of 2014-2015

Commission on operational readiness at full capacity for the autumn-winter period of 2014-2015 was conducted at E.ON Russia Berezovskaya GRES (Krasnoyarsk Krai).

The commission included representatives and specialists of such organizations as System Operator of the Unified Power System of Siberia; Western Branch of Yenisei Interregional Office of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service ; Krasnoyarsk Krai Fire Inspection, as well as managers of E.ON Russia Production Department.

During several days the commission members were assessing technical condition of the Berezovskaya GRES’s generating equipment, quality of repair works carried out, key parameters of the power units operation, personnel training and qualification. The emergency response and fire-fighting trainings have been carried out under the expert supervision to improve the personnel emergency preparedness in conditions of low outdoor temperature.Berezovskaya GRES’s fuel reserves were inspected as well. The power plant’s coal and fuel oil reserves are double more than it was specified in the standards approved by the Ministry of Energy.

Based on the inspection results the commission has confirmed that Berezovskaya GRES is ready to operate in the upcoming winter and handed over to the power plant management a Certificate of operational readiness for the autumn-winter period of 2014-2015.
