E.ON Russia increased the electric power generation by 7% in H1

Electric power generation of E.ON Russia JSC amounted to 32,168 bln kWh in the first half of 2012 which exceeds by 7% the result of the first half of 2011.
 
Particularly, Yaivinskaya GRES increased its generation by 60%, Surgutskaya GRES-2 - by 8%.
 
Electric power sales of E.ON Russia JSC at the wholesale market amounted to 33,325 bln kWh in January-June 2012 which also exceeds by 7% the result of the same period of 2011.
 
The company's performance dynamics is driven by the operation of new high-performance capacities commissioned in 2010-2011. Thus, in the third quarter of 2011 1,200 MW of new capacities were commissioned at Surgutskaya GRES-2 and Yaivinskaya GRES. Moreover, the generation capacity of Berezovskaya GRES increased by 50  MW since January 1, 2012 due to the project on modernization of power unit No. 2 of the power plant.  
 
Heat power sales of E.ON Russia amounted to 1,022 ths. Gcal in the first half of 2012 which is 3% less as compared to the first half of 2011.
