According to current data, OGK-4 power plants produced 31,139.7 mln kWh of electricity in January-July 2008, a 5.3% increase over the same period of 2007. Berezovskaya power plant increased electricity production by 43.7% up to 5,929.7 mln kWh, Yaivinskaya power plant by 4.4% up to 2,556.3 mln kWh, Shaturskaya power plant by 11.2% up to 2,815.8 mln kWh, Smolenskaya power plant by 19.6% up to 1,292.5 mln kWh.
Electricity production by OGK-4 power plants in July of the current year is increased as compared to July 2007 by 8.9% and amounted to 4,223.9 mln kWh.
Net output of heat by OGK-4 power plants for January-July 2008 amounted to 1,373.4 thousand Gcal.
The load factor at OGK-4 power plants reached 70.5% for January-July 2008, in July the load factor amounted to 65.8%.
The open joint stock company Forth Generation Company of the Wholesale Electricity Market (OGK-4) operates five power generation plants with the total capacity of 8,630 MW, including Surgutskaya GRES-2 (4,800 MW, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District), Berezovskaya GRES (1,500 MW, Krasnoyarsk territory), Shaturskaya GRES (1,100 MW, Moscow region), Smolenskaya GRES (630 MW, Smolensk region) and Yayvinskaya GRES (600 MW, Perm territory). 76% of OGK-4 shares belong to E.ON Russia Power GmbH – a 100% affiliate of E.ON AG, coordinating corporation’s energy business in Russia.
