TPPS MANAGED BY OGK-4 GENERATE 14.3 BILLION KWH OF ELECTRICITY IN 1Q07

In 1Q07, according to current data, the power plants managed by OGK-4 generated 14,319,800,000 kWh of electricity – a 0.2% decrease YOY. This decrease was due to abnormally low air temperatures in 1Q06 in the area covered by OGK-4. Meanwhile, in January-March 2007, Surgutskaya TPP-2 increased its electricity generation by 0.9% (up to 8,984,400,000 kWh), Berezovskaya TPP by 0.6% (up to 2,651,200,000 kWh), Yaivinskaya TPP by 1.7% (up to 1,169,800,000 kWh). The above TPPs stepped up their electricity generation due to the increased electricity consumption in their coverage areas.

In March this year, the TPPs managed by OGK-4 generated 4,572,400,000 kWh of electricity.

In 1Q07, the net thermal energy output of the TPPs managed by OGK-4 reached 897,500 Gcal, including 265,100 Gcal for March.

According to the results of 1Q07, the utilization factor of maximum capacity at the TPPs managed by OGK-4 was 76.9%, including 71.2% for March.
