Generation Company Four of the Wholesale Market of Power and Energy has decided to build a 800-MW replacement capacity comprising two CCGT-400 single-shaft units at Surgutskaya TPP-2 (subsidiary of OGK-4). Earlier, the Company planned to construct a CCGT-800 power unit at Surgutskaya TPP-2. For the purpose of unification of the equipment supplied under the OGK-4 investment projects, it was decided for this investment project to use, instead of one CCGT-800, two CCGT-400 single-shaft units as part of a 270-MW GTU, a 130-MW steam turbine, and a 420-MW generator.
Under the OGK-4 investment program for the period ending 2015, it is also planned to construct CCGT-400-based replacement capacities at Shaturskaya TPP-5 and Yaivinskaya TPP. The implementation of a standard technical solution at OGK-4's three power plants makes it possible to reduce budgeted project costs and optimize equipment maintenance costs. In addition, the component arrangement of a power unit with two CCGT-400 single-shaft units at Surgutskaya TPP-2 significantly improves the technical and cost efficiency of this investment project. Specifically, the project implementation period can be reduced from 36 to 32 months, while the construction area decreases 1.4 times.
