TPPS MANAGED BY WGC-4 EXCEED TARGET FOR ELECTRICITY GENERATION BY NINE POINT NINE PERCENT DURING JANUARY-SEPTEMBER 2006

During January-September 2006, according to current data, the power plants managed by OGK-4 generated 33 billion 191.74 million kWh of electricity (a 9.9% increase as compared with the planned figure), including 21 billion 384.77 million kWh (a 108.2% increase) generated by Surgutskaya TPP-2, 4 billion 579.09 million kWh (99.4%) by Berezovskaya TPP, 3 billion 057,05 million kWh (147.5%) by Shaturskaya TPP, 2 billion 623.26 million kWh (111.3%) by Yaivinskaya TPP, and 1 billion 547.57 million kWh (109.5%) by Smolenskaya TPP. In September 2006, the TPPs managed by OGK-4 generated 3 billion 957.86 million kWh of electricity – a 9.7% increase as compared with the planned figure.

During the 9 months of 2006, the Company supplied its consumers with 31 billion 859.19 million kWh, which by 10.4% exceeds the target. In September 2006, consumers were supplied with 3 billion 804.08 million kWh of electric power (a 10.4% increase as against the target figure). 

During January-September 2006, the net thermal energy output of the TPPs managed by OGK-4 exceeded the planned figure by 13.9% and reached 1 million 665 thousand Gcal. The thermal energy generation in September 2006 was 83.65 thousand Gcal.     

According to the results of the nine months of 2006, the utilization factor of maximum capacity at the TPPs managed by OGK-4 was 58.7%, including 63.7% for September.
