IN FIRST HALF YEAR OF 2006, PURCHASES OF TPPs MANAGED BY WGC-4 REACH 2.42 BILLION RUBLES
At its today's meeting, the Management of Generation Company Four of the Wholesale Market of Power and Energy (WGC-4) has reviewed the report on the results of the procurement operations of the Company and the TPPs under its management in the first half year of 2006. According to the results of the first half year of 2006, the total purchases of goods and services for the needs of BTPP-1, Smolenskaya TPP, Shaturskaya TPP-5, Surgutskaya TPP-2, and Yaivinskaya TPP (from July 1, 2006, subsidiaries of WGC-4) were 2.42 billion rubles (excluding fuel purchases). In this connection, the purchasing efficiency (the difference between the target and bottom-line lot costs) was 72 million rubles. In January-February 2006, the open competitive purchases accounted for 82% of the Company's total purchases.
According to the results of the first half year of 2006, the Annual Integrated Procurement Program (AIPP) was implementing at 80.1% of the approved target. Most of the funds were allocated for the implementation of the maintenance program for the power plants managed by WGC-4.
