On the 29th of July 2015 at 6:02 am (local time) power unit No. 1 of E.ON Russia Berezovskaya GRES (located in Sharypovo District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory) has been connected to the Unified Energy System of Siberia after the scheduled outage.
The power unit No. 2 scheduled repairs are carried out. In the turbine hall the works on opening of the high-pressure cylinder of the turbine generating set with the replacement of the nozzle diaphragm and control stage at the high-pressure rotor are being implemented.
According to the second power unit equipment modernization program, the screw slag removal systems are being replaced with the drag conveyor. Last year the similar works were carried out at the power unit No. 1 which is necessary for the future power plant’s transition to the dry ash-and-slag removal.
During the repair of the second power unit, the big scope of work will be carried out to run diagnostics of the pipelines and to clean the heating surfaces of the steam generating unit. The accomplished scope of repair works should ensure safe and uninterrupted performance of the power plant at peak load periods.
The repair program at Berezovskaya GRES will be finished by the end of September, 2015.
