Unipro PJSC Berezovskaya GRES Branch has successfully closed the 2019-2020 heating season. The power engineers have ensured fail-free operation of the equipment and high-quality heat and hot water supply of consumers in the Sharypovo Town, Kholmogorskoye Settlement, and Dubinino Village with a total population of 50 thousand people in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Concurrently with cutting the heating, Berezovskaya GRES used to cut hot water for two weeks in order to run the hydraulic tests of the heating network. However, this year, the Branch chose not to interrupt the hot power supply of Sharypovo residents until the end of the state of high alert due to the spread of the coronavirus disease.
After the end of the heating season, the specialists of Berezovskaya GRES Branch traditionally embark upon preventive repairs of the heating network. Currently, the power plant operates 150 km (two-pipe) of the heating network pipelines in the Sharypovo Town and Kholmogorskoye Settlement.
In 2019, to ensure fail-free heat supply of the housing stock and social institutions in the Sharypovo Town, the heat power engineers of Berezovskaya GRES accomplished the heating network maintenance plan in full. During the forthcoming non-heating season, the Branch is planning to repair the heat distribution system (these repairs have already been launched). The Branch will replace Ø32–273 mm pipelines exceeding 5,000 meters in total length (single-pipe).
The activities scheduled by the Branch are intended to ensure reliable heat supply of consumers, reduce heat losses during transportation and distribution, and increase the hydraulic stability of the heating network.
