Unipro Publishes RAS Financial Statements for the First Half of 2016
Unipro PJSC publishes its financial statements for the first six months of 2016, prepared in accordance with the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).
Unipro’s net profit for the reporting period reached RUB 7.4 bn (+7% compared to the same period of 2015).
The company's revenue for the period between January and June 2016 increased by 12.1% and reached RUB 41.1 bn.
The following key factors have positively influenced the dynamics in the first half of 2016:
- Operation of power unit 4 at Surgutskaya GRES- 2; it was under repair during the same period in 2015; and
- Payments received for the capacity supplied under Capacity Supply Agreements for power unit 3 at Berezovskaya GRES before February 01, 2016.

The boiler room of power unit 3 at Berezovskaya GRES caught fire on February 01, 2016. The fire caused significant damage to equipment. Complex restoration is required. Unit 3 was put under unscheduled repairs. Results of the fixed asset write-off after the accident will be reflected following the asset fault detection.
