Unipro PJSC publishes the financial statements for 2016 prepared in accordance with the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).
The Company’s revenue for 2016 increased by 3.2% and totalled RUB 81.1 bn.
The net profit of Unipro in 2016 decreased by 32.5% compared to the indicators of the previous year and amounted to RUB 10.5 bn.
The main factor that caused the decrease of the company’s profit in 2016, compared to the previous year was the reflection of the disposal of assets damaged as a result of the accident at Power Unit No. 3 of Berezovskaya GRES. Unipro’s profit decrease was partially compensated by insurance payments received in 2016.
Without this factor, the net profit of Unipro would have been higher than the corresponding indicator of the previous year.
