Nikolay Derkach was appointed Director of Surgutskaya GRES-2

On September 28, 2020 Nikolay Derkach assumed the office as Director of Surgutskaya GRES-

Nikolay Derkach was born in 1969, he graduated from Ural State Technical University majoring in Heat Power Plants, took postgraduate courses for senior officers at the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. Later he completed advanced training programs at McKinsey (Moscow) and the International East-West Cooperation Institute (Moscow).

Nikolay Derkach started his career in 1993 at Reftinskaya GRES, where he worked his way from Inspection Engineer to Deputy Chief Engineer in charge for the Plant thermal and mechanical equipment operation. In 2005 Nikolay Derkach was appointed Director of TGK-9 JSC Reftinskaya GRES Branch. A year later he became Deputy General Director of OGK-5 JSC Reftinskaya GRES (Enel Russia PJSC). In 2010 he was appointed on the position of Deputy General Director at the Generation Facility Design Directorate of the Engineering Center of Ural’s Energy Industry JSC. Starting from 2019 he had held the position of the First Deputy General Director of UralTEP LLC.

Nikolay Derkach replaced Valeriy V. Svetushkov, Director of Surgutskaya GRES-2, who had decided to leave Unipro PJSC on August 7, 2020.
