The Belyi Park in Sharypovo (Krasnoyarsk Territory) has held the ceremonial opening of the recreation area. The purchase of brand-new modern sports equipment and installation of a hard-surfaced ground have been sponsored by Unipro PJSC.
In 2020, Unipro PJSC has allocated RUB 860,000 to park improvement activities under a donation agreement. Vandal-proof fitness equipment has been installed. From now on, all town dwellers will be able both to do jogging and Nordic walking and to exercise all groups of muscles for the sake of physical fitness and good posture. This fitness equipment is very popular with both the young and the elderly people. Besides, the space in front of a mini-stage has been covered with asphalt. It is worth mentioning that in 2018, Unipro PJSC allocated funds to the Belyi Park to upgrade the lighting system, equip the outdoor mini-stage with a hookup point for audio equipment, and install rest benches in front of the stage.
Dmitry Gudkov, First Deputy Mayor of Sharypovo, handed a letter of appreciation to Sergey Zakhvatkin, Deputy Director of Unipro PJSC Berezovskaya GRES Branch. He noted that the company’s agenda includes charity projects providing for the development of the public urban spaces every year and thanked it for many years of partnership. Sergey Zakhvatkin specified that development of the town is largely facilitated both by the concerted effort on the part of the company and town administration and by the effort of the very residents of Sharypovo. “Many thanks to the conscious citizens who know the town better than anybody else and are aware and speak of the necessity to renovate the parks, mini-parks, and recreation areas. It is very important that we are commissioning new cozy spaces for recreation and fitness every year. The town is gaining in visibility. And we take pride in our involvement in this process”.
The ceremonial opening of the recreation area was crowned by spectacular performances delivered by the young soccer players, musicians, and dancers from Sharypovo. From now own, the park will host special events for children and other visitors on a regular basis.
