In January–September 2021, Unipro power plants generated 32.6 billion kWh of electricity (+6.4 % year-on-year).
The increase in electricity generation for the reporting period is attributed to the recovery of electricity consumption and export flows after the crisis decline in 2020. Weather factors – colder winter in Q1 2021 and temperature records in the summer of 2021 – also influenced the increase in electricity demand and the essentiality of generating equipment at Unipro power plants.
Heat power generation grew by 23.7% year-on-year and amounted to 1,427.2 thous. Gcal, which was equally due to weather conditions.
