Berezovskaya GRES Increased Electric Power Generation by 3.8% in 2021

In 2021, Berezovskaya GRES branch of Unipro PJSC generated 4.504 billion kWh, thus increasing this figure by 3.8% vs. the previous year.

Despite the record high water content and the load of hydroelectric power plants in the energy system of Siberia, Berezovskaya GRES increased its generation in 2021. The output reached its highest values in Q1 and Q4. In Q1 2021, the generation increased by 17% vs. the previous year due to the cold winter and a significant increase in power consumption. The maximum output growth by 51% vs. the previous year was reached in Q4 2021, when the load of Siberian HPPs remained equal to the previous year and power consumption continued to grow.

Heat power output increased by 5.8% vs. 2020 to 626.239 thousand Gcal, which can also be mainly attributed to weather conditions.
