Employees of Berezovskaya GRES help make the city greener

Employees of Berezovskaya GRES planted more than 250 trees. On May 12, new seedlings were planted in the Family Alley of Berezovskaya GRES. Tree planting was recommenced here two years ago. Since then, as part of an organized campaign, all employees interested may plant a tree here and place a family plaque on it, as soon as spring comes.

And on May 13, the volunteers of Berezovskaya GRES went to the Central park of the city to take part in the planting of greenery. 

"In 2021, we approached the Sharypov administration with an initiative to contribute to greening the city. We were given a fairly large area in the Central Park and told what plants can be planted," commented Evgenia Shabalina, head of the administrative and economic department of Berezovskaya GRES.

Last year, thanks to the efforts of power engineers, Central Park has already been enriched with conifers. And this year - also with oaks, thanks to one of the employees of Berezovskaya GRES. Vladimir Shlyakhturov, foreman of the transport and fuel shop, grew seedlings from Bryansk acorns. He generously shares them with friends and acquaintances. He had also dreamed of planting oaks in one of the city parks for a long time. Today's action made it possible to finally bring his idea to life.

Vladimir said that the oaks take root well. Berezovskaya GRES will also provide regular watering of all planted trees. Power engineers are going to continue greening their designated park area, where there is still much work to be done.
