In March 2022 the chemical laboratory of Yaivinskaya GRES successfully passed the accreditation competence confirmation procedure with extension of accreditation scope according to accreditation criteria and requirements of interstate standard GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 (General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories). The corresponding order was issued by the Federal Accreditation Service.

The inspection was conducted as an on-site examination. For three days, the expert group checked the laboratory's activities, including its technical equipment, availability of documented procedures and their execution, extensive documentation base, and the level of staff training. In addition, there were tests aimed to demonstrate the proper performance of measurements, acting under the supervision of technical experts. The laboratory specialists have successfully completed these tests.

The laboratory was successful in demonstrating that the rules and procedures of the quality management system are fully complied with by their specialists. In addition, the scope of accreditation was expanded to 16 measurement techniques and 26 indicators approved for use in state regulation.

Regular confirmation of competence, as well as expansion of the accreditation scope, allows the laboratory to carry out incoming inspection of power-machinery fuel oils, timely and efficiently meet the requirements of Russian legislation as a part of industrial environmental control, as well as industrial control of working conditions at workplaces.
