Surgutskaya GRES-2 demonstrated the environmental efficiency of separate waste collection.

SurgutskayaGRES-2 branch of Unipro PJSC has multiplied the amount of waste sent for recycling. This results in significant resource savings in the production of paper, glass, plastic and other materials, as well as improving the environmental situation.

Surgutskaya GRES-2 launched separate collection of waste for further recycling in 2018. In addition, a separate collection of insulation material has been in place since 2020. According to the results of 2021, 10.1 tons of waste was sent for recycling.
