Berezovskaya GRES Power Unit No. 3 Certified for New Capacity

April 2022 saw successful integrated testing of Berezovskaya GRES Power Unit No. 3. For three days the steam-powered Unit No. 3 was operating at 810 MW and proved its readiness for increased capacity supply under the CSA.

The results of the integrated tests were accepted by the ‘System Operator of the Unified Energy System’ Joined-Stock Company.

The upgraded Power Unit demonstrated compliance with all system-wide technical specifications and characteristics in the course of the generating equipment certification. Starting from July 1, 2022, Power Unit No. 3 is listed in the register of generating equipment capacity supply limits, with the installed capacity of 810 MW.
