Surgutskaya GRES-2 branch of Unipro PJSC prepares the equipment for the heating season

On July 11, the power plant began repairing the heating system, which will last two weeks. Power engineers will inspect isolation valves, install and check corrosion coupons, re-route the internal heating network, and repair the pump units.

To identify any defects, specialists of Surgutskaya GRES-2 will perform hydraulic testing of the pipelines under increased pressure, as well as cleaning and washing of the heating equipment.

Scheduled scope of repairs will ensure accident-free operation of heat equipment during the 2022–2023 heating season.
