Several Unipro Projects at Once Among the Best Projects of the ConTEKst Contest

The results of the leading national award ConTEKst-2022 were summed up, which identified the best communication projects of companies in the fuel and energy complex and industry. More than 150 enterprises of the electric power industry and nuclear power industry, the oil and gas sector, and the coal-mining industry took part in the contest.

Unipro PJSC submitted five projects to the jury, three of which turned out to be among the best. “History Lessons from Shaturskaya GRES” and “Interactive Stands” from Surgutskaya GRES-2 received Degree II Awards in the nomination “Best Communication Projects of Companies in the Fuel and Energy Complex and Industry”. The educational project “Uniproshka for Children” received a Degree II Diploma in the nomination “Best Digital Projects”.

Evgenia Metelkina, Head of the Press Centre, Shaturskaya GRES Branch of Unipro PJSC: “The marathon “History Lessons from Shaturskaya GRES” was launched in the year of the centennial anniversary of the power plant, and it continues to this day. It includes a lot of educational activities, such as museum tours, work with schoolchildren and students, holding historical dictations. We are pleased that the importance and significance of this project have been appreciated by the Russian expert community.”

The project “Interactive Stands” has been implemented for Surgut Secondary School No. 19. The stands represent multi-purpose learning aids referred to as “Power Sector. Unipro.”  To use the stands, you need to scan the QR code with your smartphone, download the app, and use 4D to see the pictures come alive. An integrated smart speaker makes it possible to create a special atmosphere and work with the entire class, if necessary. The project captured the attention and interest of the schoolchildren, teachers, and representatives of the educational community in Surgut.

The project “Uniproshka for Children” has been in existence since 2018. We teach primary schoolers safe behaviour in the street, at home, in the forest, and in public places. “The project is developing and growing in several directions at once: in 2021, we switched to online, thereby allowing us to increase coverage in the regions of operation. In 2022, we made a programme for visually impaired children and held it at Krasninskaya Boarding School in Smolensk Region. The life of a child is priceless, and the task of our Uniproshka is to teach elementary self-rescue skills in non-standard or extreme situations,” commented Maria Beyger, Ideological Inspirer of the Project “Uniproshka for Children”, Press Secretary at Unipro PJSC.

It should be noted that this year All-Russian KonTEKst Award was held for the 13th time with the support of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the award is to promote the strategic development of communications in industrial and energy sectors and the successful implementation of Russia’s economic strategy.
