E.ON Russia JSC publishes the financial statements prepared in accordance with the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) for the first half of 2012.
The company's revenue amounted to 35.92 billion roubles in the first half of 2012 having increased by 12.6% as compared to the first half of 2011. Production costs increased by 14.4% and amounted to 25.63 billion roubles.
Profit before tax amounted to 11.18 billion roubles which is 19.7% more than last year.
Net profit of E.ON Russia JSC under RAS amounted to 9.13 billion roubles in the first half of 2012 which is 22.3% more than in the first half of 2011.
The main drive for the growth in revenue and profit of E.ON Russia JSC was the operation of new effective capacities commissioned under the investment program; high equipment availability factor; the company's costs optimization.
