According to the results of an open bidding for the project related to the creation of 800-MW replacement capacity on the base of two CCGT-400 at Shaturskaya TPP Subsidiary of Generation Company Four of the Wholesale Power Market (OGK-4), a Consortium of General Electric International Inc., USA, and Gama Guk Sistemleri Muhendislik ve Taahhut A.S., Turkey, has been approved as the General Contractor. With the preferred bidder OGK-4 will enter into the General Contractor Agreement for design, delivery of equipment and materials, turnkey construction, and commissioning of two 400-MW single-shaft combined-cycle gas turbines.
The bidding for the General Contractor selection for the project involving the construction of two CCGT-400’s at Shaturskaya TPP was announced in December 2006 and held on the B2B-Energo online trading floor (Informational, analytical, trading and operational system "Market of products, services and technologies for power industry").
The investment project for the creation of 800-MW replacement capacity on the base of CCGTs for Shaturskaya TPP Subsidiary of OGK-4 is on the list of high priority sites for commissioning of generating facilities in the Unified Energy System of Russia. The commissioning of CCGT-400’s is scheduled for 4Q09. The Project's estimated cost is more than 30 billion rubles.
