E.ON Russia JSC publishes the accounting statements prepared according to the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) for the first half-year 2014.
The net profit of E.ON Russia JSC in the first half 2014 according to the RAS decreased by 9.4% to 8.84 billion rubles, compared to the first half 2013.
Main reasons for the profit decrease are lower power generation volumes due to maintenance work at Surgutskaya, Shaturskaya and Yayvinskaya power stations, increased costs of production (+9.8%) and reduced capacity payments (KOM) for Berezovskaya power plant. The limited growth of electricity prices could not offset the negative effects.
